Circa £32,000-£34,000 per annum Hays Education is working exclusively with a forward-thinking alternative provision setting in Gateshead to appoint an experienced and dynamic School Business Manager for a maternity cover position. The Role As School Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, strategic and efficient running of the school's operations. Working as a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing functions across:
Finance & budget management HR administration & workforce planning Premises, health & safety Procurement & contract management Administrative leadership and line management You will lead a small, committed administrative team and work closely with senior leaders, contributing to whole-school decision-making and supporting the delivery of high quality education for learners who require a relational, trauma-informed approach. Experience with in a school or educational setting is advantageous, though applicants from other sectors with transferable skills are also encouraged to apply.
