Lunchtime Assistant
Hours:
4 hours a day (11:00am-3:00am), 20 hours per week. 28 days paid holiday including national bank holidays, which includes a whole week break over Christmas.
Salary:
Competitive based on experience. NEST pension scheme available.
Little Lattons Nursery are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated member to join our team. Ideal candidates would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the children to play, learn and grow. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Lunchtime Assistants may be qualified or unqualified but will need to obtain an enhanced DBS check, have an understanding of safeguarding children, health and safety regulations and food hygiene.
Responsibilities- Ensure the smooth running of the nursery during lunch hours
- Provide lunch cover, prepare meals, and supervise meals
- Maintain outstanding knowledge of allergens and uphold high hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Work flexibly to provide lunch cover and support the nursery
- Enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with children and undertaking observation, planning and assessment when required
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Understanding of safeguarding children, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene
