PRIMARY
PURPOSE:
Provides supervision on school buses to ensure the safety of students with special needs. Provides assistance to the bus driver in loading and unloading students who are in wheelchairs or who cannot use the bus steps.
- Minimum
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED - Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Ability to work well with children with disabilities;
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;
Communication and interpersonal skills - Minimum Experience: Prefer some experience in working with children and parents
Uses wheelchair lifts, ramps, and other equipment as required.
Hourly Rate: $11.75
