Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled carpenter with experience in commercial metal and wood framing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with a focus on framing for commercial projects. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and with a team, and a commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform commercial metal and wood framing tasks according to project specifications and building codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of framing projects.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble framing materials (metal studs, wood beams, etc.) to construct and repair frameworks and structures.
• Install metal and wood framing components for walls, floors, and ceilings in commercial settings.
• Use hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations on all job sites.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial framing, including metal and wood.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and construction plans.
• Experience with using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety practices.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
