Access Control and Patrols: monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, violence, or unsafe behavior;
Emergency Response: respond to emergency codes and assist with crowd control, evacuation, or containment as needed;
De-escalation and Conflict Management: intervene in disruptive situations using de-escalation techniques to calm agitated patients or visitors, often in collaboration with clinical staff;
Patient and Visitor Assistance: escort patients or visitors safely through the facility, provide directions, and assist with lost-and-found or personal property issues;
Incident Documentation: write detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or safety hazards and report findings to supervisors or risk management
