PositionRetail Assistant Store Manager
We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our team as a Retail Assistant Store Manager. The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. The actual pay will depend on location, qualifications, and experience.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day store operations, promoting a positive and productive environment, partnering with the Store Manager to lead and develop staff, recruiting and retaining talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The role sets the tone for a customer-centric environment.
You will analyze store financial statements alongside the Store Manager to ensure goals are met and participate in asset protection, store promotion, and new customer acquisition. You may work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

Responsibilities Of An Assistant Store ManagerThis is a representative list of duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and follow procedures to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and secured loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
- Communicate clearly with employees to convey the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others and work with firearms (become firearms certified).
- Ability to work at exterior locations as needed and across multiple locations if required.
- Minimum Age: 18;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; 40+ hours per week.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills; cash handling experience; ability to work independently.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details provided during interview.
