Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep
Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
The member frontline cashier is the heart of our front end. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. You play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self-checkout experience. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holiday seasons.
Tasks include scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area.
What you’ll do
- Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and guiding on member self-service technology.
- Process member purchases and assist with transactions using registers or self-checkout, while maintaining a neat, member-ready area.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply the Open Door Policy in daily work.
- Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with managers and teammates, meeting deadlines, and adapting to feedback and change.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience and a retail background, including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications is a plus.
