Member Assist Cart Attendant

Overview

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr this range is provided by Sam's Club. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression.

• In the member assist – cart attendant role, ensure members see a well-kept parking lot and that carts are ready and available.
• Assist members with their purchases and help load items into vehicles, supporting a great member experience.
• Maintain a positive, energetic presence; be prepared to be on your feet, rain or shine.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Provide exceptional customer service across the club as needed, answering questions and assisting with decisions.
• Process member purchases and assist with payments according to company policies; operate cash registers as needed.
• Organize and maintain availability of carts/flatbeds; assist with transporting items.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply these in daily work practices.
• Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners.

Ensure club pickup orders are filled by notifying members when pickup times are delayed or products are unavailable; offer alternatives when needed; package and dispense items when members arrive for pickup; resolve issues and promote products and services. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe conditions. Maintain parking lot cleanliness and assist with general club operations.
