This role provides direct clinical patient care. The RN will assess, plan, and implement care for assigned patients on a per‑shift basis, and provide unit‑level oversight. The RN supports the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high‑quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

• Provide high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
• Administer all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
• Perform and fulfill all hospital incident command system (HICS) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed by the facility during emergencies and/or disasters.
• Know the hospital’s emergency codes and adhere to corresponding policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law or regulation in the state of practice; AHA BLS, and if applicable, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.

Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing; recent acute care experience.
