Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities & Logistics Assistant to support the daily cleanliness, basic upkeep, and transportation needs of our facilities. This individual will be responsible for performing routine custodial duties, basic facility support tasks, and office runner (driver) duties to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and common areas
  • Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
  • Maintain outdoor areas by sweeping walkways and removing debris
  • Perform basic facility support tasks such as changing light bulbs or replacing air filters as assigned
  • Observe facility conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and custodial equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals
  • Assist with setting up or breaking down furniture and equipment for meetings or events
  • Deliver and pick up supplies, documents, and orders at physician offices as scheduled
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of items
  • Follow assigned routes and instructions
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the organization off-site
  • Keep assigned vehicle clean and report any vehicle issues promptly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and safe usage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Good communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
