Residential Care Provider

Overview

Part Time Schedule - 29 hrs./ $13 per hour

Monday - Friday: 4:30pm - 8:30 pm

Saturdays off

Sunday: 11:30 am - 8:30 pm

This schedule is non-negotiable, since it is client specific

Job Summary We are looking for a Residential Care Provider for the Harlingen area to join our team! You will directly work with the patient, following a one-on-one care plan in the client's home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.

Strong verbal skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health experience is a plus.

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Give medications
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

• High School Diploma or GED
• Driver’s license required
• CPR certification preferred
