Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and a Valid Texas Teacher Certificate, or eligibility for employment through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP). Eligible ACP candidates must meet ACP requirements and pass the TExES examinations required for this position. Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned and knowledge of the subject are required. A general knowledge of curriculum and instruction, the ability to instruct students and manage their behavior, and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are expected.
