Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Texas Teacher Certificate. All Physical Education-certified teachers or individuals eligible for Physical Education certification through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP) are welcome to apply. Eligible ACP candidates must meet ACP requirements and pass the TExES examinations required for this position. Demonstrated competency in the subject area is expected, along with knowledge of the academic subject, general knowledge of curriculum and instruction, and the ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the physical education subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
