Lead Laborer – Harlingen, TX – Natives of Kodiak, Inc.

KOMAN Construction, LLC. is looking for a seasoned Field Lead to join our construction/O&M team in Harlingen, TX. The Field Lead will supervise and direct the work of laborers and operators on the construction site to ensure a safe, timely, and high-quality product.

• Monitor, direct, and coach job site personnel.
• Operate equipment and perform manual labor when necessary.
• Inspect heavy equipment and address vehicle/equipment maintenance.
• Proactively problem solve with resources and scheduled milestones.
• Ensure manpower and resources are appropriate to successfully execute plans.
• Direct personnel and adjust priorities.
• Implement project schedules and employee work plans.
• Delegate when appropriate to focus on higher priority needs.
• Ensure and emphasize compliance with all safety precautions, policies, and plans.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Additional relevant certifications are a plus.
• 2+ years of relevant construction lead or equivalent experience.
• Extensive OSHA guidelines knowledge/experience.
• Solid experience in construction, outstanding leadership personality and ability to make decisions in complex situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
