Description: As a Relationship Banker, you will hold a key position within our bank, responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, opening and managing accounts, and driving business growth through referrals to various sales departments. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and expanding the bank's client base. You will be the face of the bank, fostering strong customer relationships, meeting their financial needs, and driving business growth through referrals.
Your ability to understand and respond to customer requirements will contribute to the bank's success and reputation within the community.
Job Description: Relationship Banker
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers.
- Safely and accurately handle cash, coins, and negotiable instruments, following established cash-handling procedures, while processing a wide range of banking or teller transactions including deposits and withdrawals, adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Open and service various types of checking and savings accounts, documenting all services completed on customers’ accounts.
- Discuss customer needs to identify opportunities for product recommendations.
- Provide exceptional service through our SWARM Banking approach, greeting customers by name as they enter the lobby.
- Contribute toward monthly sales and service metrics to help build the business.
- Refer customers to specialized departments such as mortgage, wealth management and insurance.
- Onboard new customers through follow-up routines to ensure successful use of our products.
- Educate customers on our digital banking tools (virtual tellers, mobile app, safe online banking) and assist with technical issues as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Banking knowledge:
Familiarity with banking operations, procedures and financial products. Understands banking regulations and compliance requirements. - Adaptability:

- High School diploma required
- 4 year degree strongly preferred
- 3 years of cash handling experience strongly preferred
- 2 years retail banking experience strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience required
- Experience in opening accounts for Small Business customers
Hours will vary depending on location assigned. Consistent weekend availability on Saturdays during the hours of 8:30am – 1:00pm.
