Just one hour north of Austin and 30 minutes south of Waco, Texas, Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is looking for a part-time emergency medicine (EM) physician to join the team.

This role offers the flexibility to live in Austin, Waco, or anywhere in between while practicing meaningful, fast-paced emergency medicine in Central Texas.

Emergency Department Snapshot

* 17-bed emergency department with designated fast track

* Level IV Trauma Center

* Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center

* Approximately 42,000 annual ED visits

* EPIC EMR

* Average ~2 patients per physician hour

Coverage and Schedule

* 10-hour physician shifts

* 40 hours of physician coverage daily

* 40 hours of APC (NP/PA) coverage daily

* Experienced APC support and along with all ABEM physicians

Compensation and Benefits

* W2 employee position

* High flat hourly rate
