About the role

This Behaviour Mentor role is based in a welcoming, well-established primary school in Enfield, which is Ofsted-rated ‘Good’. The school has a strong inclusive ethos and is committed to supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, particularly those with ADHD.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with a Year 6 pupil who presents with challenging behaviour linked to ADHD.

Your role will involve providing consistent 1:1 support, helping the pupil regulate emotions, manage behaviour, and engage positively with learning. You will support the child both in and out of the classroom, using clear routines, positive behaviour strategies, and de-escalation techniques.

You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans and ensure a consistent approach.
