Key Responsibilities as a Secondary Teacher:

Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with national curriculum expectations across KS3–KS5 within your subject specialism.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
Track student attainment and provide clear, constructive feedback to support strong outcomes.
Student Engagement:
Inspire curiosity and a positive attitude to learning by making subject content accessible, relevant, and exciting.
Classroom Environment:
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported.

Collaboration:

Work closely with colleagues within your department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
Professional Growth:
Participate in CPD and stay informed of developments in your subject area and modern educational methodologies.
The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge within your specialist subject and a passion for delivering high-quality teaching.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Effective behaviour management skills and high expectations for achievement.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
