The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our London branch. In this role, you’ll play a key part in securing new business opportunities while also reconnecting with lapsed customers and strengthening relationships with our existing client base.
This is a varied and rewarding position where your success will help shape the continued growth of our branch. You will focus on developing opportunities across commercial, industrial, and public-sector markets, showcasing the quality, professionalism, and reliability that Bagnalls is known for.
The role is full time and based at our London branch. Whilst being present in the office is vital, a hybrid working agreement can be arranged to provide some flexibility.
Salary
:
We offer a basic salary starting from £40,000 with a realistic OTE of £65,000 - £70,000.

Key Responsibilities- Drive business growth for the London branch by identifying and securing new customers.
- Re-engage with lapsed customers and develop long-term partnerships with existing clients.
- Work closely with branch and regional management teams to deliver a seamless customer experience from first contact to project completion.
- Research and analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations to promote our services.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, ensuring progress toward agreed targets.
- Proven track record in business development, ideally within construction, painting, or facilities services.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage customers at all levels.
- Strategic and creative approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
