- Fabricate and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints
- Create precise fittings for various applications
- Inspect fiberglass pipes for any defects, ensure that fittings are fitting to specifications
- Conduct inspections of installed piping systems to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Utilize tools such as calipers to measure and fitting pipes accurately
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to complete projects efficiently
- 3 years’ experience with bonding, repairing and fabrication of fiberglass piping material
- Proven experience as a Fiberglass Pipe Technician or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of pipe fabrication techniques, including working with fiberglass and threading
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices on construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively
- Physical Demand: Lift 50 lbs. unassisted
- Working Conditions: Shop and /or field work
- Training/
Certifications:
Certification or relevant training in pipe fitting is preferred but not required - Shift Time/Overtime: 8 am-5 pm - Overtime – Weekends
- Travel: To client sites
- Education: High School Diploma
