Job Overview

River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. Founded in 1970, the hospital specializes in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma‑based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. The 14‑acre campus offers services at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient).

River Oaks Hospital is seeking a Dynamic Registered Nurse for a Full‑Time Night shift. Qualified candidates will work in an engaging, team‑based environment dedicated to patient healing and health. New graduates are encouraged to apply. A $10,000 sign‑on bonus is available.

Provide nursing care to patients in a psychiatric setting, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and compassionate service. This role includes participation in the interdisciplinary team, adherence to the hospital’s Service Excellence Standards, and commitment to treating every patient as a guest.

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school; valid Louisiana State Board of Nurses licensure.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Team‑work oriented and collaborative with others.
• Preferred experience in a psychiatric hospital or related inpatient setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to service excellence, patient respect, and professionalism.
• Ability to practice teamwork and cooperate in a multidisciplinary environment.
