General Description:

This position is a part-time benefited Custodial Worker position (4 hours/day or 20 hours/week).
Organization:
Reports to the Training Lieutenant and does not supervise any personnel.

Essential Functions:

• Strips, seals, waxes and buff floors

• Scrubs and rinses floors in assigned areas

• Damp mops a variety of rooms (i.e.: offices, halls, stairs, break room, stairs)

• Dusts variety of rooms (i.e.: library, gym, stairs)

• Sweeps (i.e. stairs and entrance area, locker rooms, halls)

• Cleans and scrubs restrooms completely

• Dusts rooms, offices, furniture, cupboards and remove cobwebs

• Empties and washes garbage cans

• Attends work daily and be engaged and on task

• Performs overtime on scheduled, unscheduled, routine or emergency basis, as assigned

• Performs other duties as assigned

Environment
Work environment may include noise, fumes, grease, dirt/dust, inside/outside, working alone and with others, confined areas, chemicals, repetition.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting, walking, pushing/pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, standing, flexibility with lower and upper body, smelling, touching, talking, stamina, and hearing.

• Ability to work at high altitudes and using scaffolds, ladders, etc.

• Ability to lift to 50#
