General Shop Labor

Our client is seeking a General Shop Laborer to join their team. As a General Shop Laborer, you will be part of the production team supporting various assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** 1st shift

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.

+ Follow directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.

+ Assist with the assembly of metal fabricated parts on assembly lines.

+ Maintain a clean manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and organize tools as assigned.

+ Perform miscellaneous jobs at the plant as needed, including potential forklift operation when required.

** What's Needed?*
* + Good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.

+ Responsible handling of materials and equipment.

+ Basic arithmetic skills as needed.

+ Willingness to work in a variety of roles and adapt to changing tasks.
