Punch Press Operator

Our client is seeking a Laser Operator to join their team. As a punch press Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Punch Press Operator

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $19 to $21 an hour depending on experience
Shift: 2nd shift, plus 15% shift differential

What's the Job?

• Operate laser cutting and punch machines to perform precise cuts on various materials, primarily sheet metal.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and its operations is required.
• Experience in quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
