Accounts Receivable Specialist - Hanover, PA
About the Company and Accounts Receivable Specialist Opportunity
- CFS is partnering with a repeat client in Hanover, PA to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist

- Schedule:
Fully on site in Hanover, PA. Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm - Salary: $45,000-$52,000
Job Duties of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Assist with accounts receivable functions including invoicing, cash applications, and collections support
- Monitor aging reports and assist with follow-up on past due balances
- Process and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, and online payments)
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Research and respond to customer inquiries related to invoices and payments
- Prepare AR reports for management including weekly aging summaries
- Collaborate with accounting team members on special projects as needed
Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- 1+ years of AR or accounting experience required
- Experience performing reconciliations preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience using Sage, Docu Ware, and/or Hub Spot a plus, but not required
- Proficient in Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP highly beneficial)
- Detail-oriented and strong critical thinking skills
