Senior CNO Software Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a technical field or a High School Diploma with significant technical experience – At least 14 years of relevant technical experience or 18 years with a High School Diploma
• Proficiency in Python or C/C++ programming
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex systems
• Familiarity with low-level system internals on platforms like Windows, Unix, Mobile, or networking devices
• Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, and socket-level programming
• Experience in designing and developing CNO capabilities
• Proven leadership in developing technical CNO solutions
• (Preferred) Familiarity with assembly programming languages
• (Preferred) Background in software analysis or reverse engineering
• (Preferred) Experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies
• (Preferred) Knowledge of Atlassian tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible
• Must possess a current, active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph and be prepared for additional polygraph if necessary
• Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

Responsibilities:

• Create and enhance new hardware or software-based CNO capabilities
• Oversee the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of application software and systems
• Utilize expert knowledge of security concepts and network technologies
• Develop data queries for current or prospective databases or data repositories
• Innovate or implement algorithms to achieve or surpass system performance and functionality standards
