RESPONSIBILITIES Including, but not limited to:
* Work with the facilities dietitian as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
* Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
* Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
* Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.
* Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room etc. as instructed.
* Assist the cook in preparing meals.
* Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
* Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
* Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc., are readily available for the next meal.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment is required.
* The ideal candidate will also have previous organizational experience.
* All other duties as assigned.

Skills
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus.
* Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility.
* Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company
* proprietary information
* Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels
