Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer)
in the Technology Transfer Office (.: 534620) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
- Assist in the administration and coordination of the ITC-funded Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus Scheme (RAISe+) under the direction of the Program Manager.
- Facilitate RAISe+ project administration including progress monitoring, compliance verification, reporting requirements.
- Support other funded innovation projects as needed.
- Organize and manage events, workshops, and training sessions to foster innovation and knowledge exchange.
- Support collaboration among faculty, industry partners, venture funders, and government officials.
- Assist with company secretarial and administrative tasks, including record-keeping and ensuring compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management, innovation, or technology transfer.
- Experience in tertiary education institutions or research-intensive environments preferred.
- Knowledge of company secretarial practices, including corporate governance and statutory filings, is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial/project management systems.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a passion for innovation and technology.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of intellectual property management, commercialization, or funding schemes (e.g., RAISe+) is an advantage.
