Deputy Executive Director

Overview

Hanover Sewerage Authority located in Hanover Township in Morris County is seeking a Full Time Deputy Director. The Hanover Sewerage Authority (HSA) operates a 4.61 advanced wastewater treatment plant and a collection system with 100 miles of gravity sewers. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director and assist in the overall management of the HSA. Responsibilities will involve coordination with professional consultants;

working with contract documents; project management; maintenance of GIS; monitoring and tracking of operational performance; tracking of regulatory compliance requirements; and various other projects. Candidate must have substantial experience with the operation and management of comparable public facilities; project management and preparing and coordinating capital improvement programs. An Engineering degree and a P.E. license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of wastewater or other related fields is required.

The successful candidate must have excellent written, communication and computer skills. Salary will be determined based on level of experience and qualifications.
