Database Administrator, Data Engineer
Hybrid ideally 3-4 days a week onsite in Whippany, NJ.
The organization is transitioning from legacy People Soft 9.1 to a modern enterprise platform and requires a seasoned developer to drive data conversion, SQR development, and synchronization through Component Interface while ensuring data integrity across phased migrations.

Rate: $65-$75
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain SQR extracts to support data conversion and integration efforts.
- Utilize People Soft Component Interface tools to ensure synchronization between legacy People Soft systems and the new platform.
- Support phased migration activities and uphold data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with functional analysts, DBAs, and project managers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within People Soft 9.1 applications.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Assist with validation and reconciliation during data conversion cycles.
- Hands‑on experience with People Soft 9.1.
- Oracle database experience (minimally strong SQL)
- Proven recent expertise developing SQR programs and extracts.
- Experience supporting data conversion and ERP migration projects.
- Experience with Peoplesoft App Engine
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a contract environment.
- Experience supporting phased ERP migrations (preferred).
- Experience integrating legacy systems with modern platforms (preferred).
- Knowledge of People Tools and broader People Soft architecture (preferred).
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
