• Java 11 or higher, Spring Boot, REST, API Security, JPA, Oracle, CI/CD Pipelines, Kafka/JMS/MQ, Angular, Junit/Mockito
• API Gateways, financial domains, and containers/cloud development
• Designing and building scalable, resilient backend systems using Java (Spring Boot)
• Developing user interfaces with Angular; design and integrate RESTful APIs
• Applying Test-Driven Development (TDD), Dev Ops practices, Docker for containerization, working with messaging middleware and databases to build scalable solutions

• Ability to provide guidance and knowledge to engineering teams to ensure best practices and technical excellence
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted point of contact for the development team
• Experience with designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned technology solutions

This role is located in Whippany, NJ office.

Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contributing to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

• To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and accelerate breaches of policies/procedures.
• If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, plan the department’s future needs and operations, counsel employees on performance and contribute to employee pay decisions/changes. May also lead specialists to influence operations of a department, in alignment with strategic and tactical priorities, balancing short‑ and long‑term goals and ensuring budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
