Shrafts 2.0 Pharmacist - Cedar Knoll's, NJ (on site)

Many pharmacists I speak with are tired of being rushed, understaffed, and stuck filling prescriptions all day—without the time or freedom to truly help patients the way they want to.

If you’re feeling burned out by retail pharmacy and wondering if this is really what you went to school for, you’re not alone. What if you could use your clinical knowledge at a higher level…

  • Actually educate patients…
  • And have more control over your time and income?

The Pharmacist is responsible for providing specialized pharmaceutical care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. The pharmacist works closely with fertility clinics, prescribers, and patients to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate medication management.

This role supports patients undergoing fertility treatments by providing medication counseling, coordinating with fertility providers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately dispense fertility and reproductive health medications, including injectables, hormones, and specialty compounds
  • Verify prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and contraindications
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and inventory control of fertility medications
  • Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws, USP standards, and organizational policies
  • Provide clear, compassionate counseling to patients on medication administration, storage, side effects, and adherence
  • Educate patients on injectable fertility medications and treatment protocols
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns with sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, and expiration tracking for fertility medications
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm

    D) degree
  • Experience in medication dispensing in a retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Experience with fertility, IVF, or reproductive health medications a bonus
