Join Barclays as a Control Business Partner, where you will play a critical role in identifying and managing remediation plans across multiple Barclays teams, including Risk, Finance and Technology. Your analytical skills will be used in developing and presenting weekly scorecards that highlight progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges and improve operational efficiency.
To be successful as a Control Business Partner, you should have:
- Extensive experience with Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
- Practical experience working with reporting tools such as Tableau
- Background in reporting within a regulated environment
- Exposure to risk and control frameworks, including identifying process gaps and taking corrective actions

Minimum Salary: $75,000
Maximum Salary: $100,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the roleTo assess the integrity and effectiveness of the banks internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of the banks operational, financial, and reputational risk.
Accountabilities- Knowledge of business areas, products, processes and platforms to be able to assess risk
- Collaboration with various stakeholders across the bank and business units to improve overall control effectiveness through detailed documentation of control assessments, procedures, and findings.
- Identification and investigation of potential weaknesses and issues within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation aligned to the bank’s control framework, prioritised by the severity to disrupt bank operations.
- Development of reports to communicate key findings from risk assessment including control weaknesses and recommendations to control owners, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Execution of reviews to determine the effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework aligned to established and evolving policies, regulation, and best practice.
- Implementation of adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and set appropriate methodology of assessing controls against the Controls Framework.
- To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
