Overview

We’re growing! New Jersey’s premier HVAC-Plumbing-Electrical company is looking for a full-time Customer Service Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position reports to our Customer Service Manager and is an on-site role, working 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. As a family-owned business, we provide personalized solutions for residential and commercial heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality applications.

Our customers’ comfort is a core responsibility, and you will be the voice of our brand and the first point of contact for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate professionally with customers through various channels, including phone, email, chat and social media.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information about our products and services using the right methods and tools.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs and expectations and provide solutions that exceed them.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers by being empathetic, honest, responsive, and professional.
  • Generate sales leads by discovering customers’ interests and preferences.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate resolutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and managers to ensure a high-quality customer service process.
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience (3-4 years preferred in HVAC, construction, or a technical setting).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient with computers and standard software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Genuine desire to grow and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret account history and determine customer needs.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, patience, and kindness; ability to multi-task; detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong math skills; ability to be on-call (planned rotation for ~8-10 Saturdays per year with overtime not provided).
  • Associates degree strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
