Role:
Warehouse Associate at Apex Systems – Hanover Park, IL.
Pay: $17.00/hr – $17.00/hr.
Duration: 3 months with potential to extend, start ASAP.

Schedule:

8:30 AM – 5:30 PM CST.

• Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents, noting discrepancies or damage.
• Operate computer terminal to enter receipts and print labels.
• Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, ensuring correct quantity and product.
• Select appropriate box size and pack product, sending boxes onto the conveyor line for quality checks.
• Enter handling units, verify orders, and print shipping labels.
• Label boxes accurately and send to the conveyor line for metering.
• Mark the correct quantity on product and label appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards in the work area.

• High school education or equivalent with at least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures and basic computer experience.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Effective response to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
• RF technology proficiency.
• Valid forklift certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of WMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL Power Stations.
• Typing speed of 25‑40 WPM.
