Overview
Position: Class A CDL Dry Bulk Regional Driver
Location: Hannibal, MO
Hiring Area: 50-mile radius of Hannibal, MO
Freight & Route DetailsFreight Type: Dry Bulk
- Route Details: Lanes: IL, IN, Western OH, Southern MI, MO
- Average Miles: 2,000-2,300/week
- Schedule: M-F home weekends, can get in on a Saturday
- Home Time: Weekly - home weekends
Description: Loads in Quincy and can run up into southern MI and down into OH and back over
Freight: Pneumatic Dry Bulk (cement mostly). Driver will assist with loading and will be responsible for offloading product
EquipmentEquipment: 2020 and newer Macks and Internationals
Truck Speed: Cruise 68 MPH, Pedal 65 MPH
Freight & Additional DetailsFreight Details: All tough freight - 0% drop and hook, 0% no touch - 75% Hazmat loads
Parking: Onsite at customer (or other secure location – must be approved by Management)
Average Pay: $1,200-$1,500 per week
QualificationsSpecific Requirements: 6 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience, otherwise 1 year within the past 3 years. TWIC preferred.
Orientation & Training- Online Orientation & Drug Screening: 2.5-3 hours (31/32 online tasks including CDL/Medical Card/SS card upload, BTC policies review, Recurrent HM Training Videos)
- Online Orientation Completion Pay: $200 (on 1st check Friday/week following hire)
- Onsite Training: 5 days at Jacksonville FL (dry bulk) or Fenton MO (liquid) - $120/day
- 1.5-2 days classroom
- Standard driver road test
- Introduction to pneumatic or liquid tank equipment
- Road Training:
- Dry Bulk: 5-7 days at home terminal - $120/day
- Liquid (with 6+ months liquid experience): 1 week - $120/day Week 1, $200/day Week 2
- Liquid (no previous liquid experience): 2 weeks - $120/day Week 1, $200/day Week 2
- Lodging:
Single occupancy at Rte 66 or Drury Inn (Fenton MO) or Microtel (Jacksonville FL) - Meals:
Breakfast and Lunch provided during onsite training - Travel:
Plane or car rental reimbursed

Yes - Detention Pay: $5.00 per hour after 2 hours
- Per Diem:
Optional 0.14/mile (weekly miles) - Referral Bonus: $1,500 ($750 at hire, $750 at 90 days)
- Benefits: BCBS health insurance starts 1st of month following 60 days from hire, VSP Vision
- Vacation: 1 week after 1 year (calculated on 52 week average)

- No more than 6 jobs in past 3 years
- No DOT recordable accidents within last year
- No major moving violations within past 6 months (Careless/Reckless, 15+ Over, Hand held texting/calling, Following too close, Failure to stop at RR crossing, Driving CMV without CDL)
- No more than 2 DUIs in lifetime, 1st must be over 5 years old
- No felonies in past 7 years, no lifetime violent/sexual offenses
- No current probation or parole
