Overview
Account Executive (salary + commission) in Lamar Advertising’s Hannibal, Missouri office. Sell innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to brands in Hannibal, MO, Quincy, IL, and surrounding areas. Role focuses on connecting marketing and sales to develop long-term advertising relationships and meet sales objectives in the assigned territory.

- Current and valid driver’s license required
- College degree preferred
- Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- CRM experience preferred

Day in the life- Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports
- Target businesses in the assigned area and visit Lamar clients and competitors’ clients
- Maintain knowledge of local and national competition
- Cluster accounts and identify growth opportunities
- Use Lamar tools to locate prospects, prepare proposals, and follow up on leads
- Develop presenting skills and new product knowledge
- Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows
- Administrative duties: maintain sales plans, follow up on orders, and keep client records up to date
- Combination of office work and field sales
- Light lifting; reading and color distinction; typical physical activities of selling
- Nights away from home traveling less than 10%
- Monthly meetings in Collinsville, IL
