Job DescriptionSummary
Substitute for building level nurse, implementing and assisting with health programs and needs in the building or buildings to which assigned.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend to ill or injured children and/or staff at school.
- Implement required medication schedules and maintain health needs on students. Follow daily plans/needs within assigned building.
- Maintain the efficient operation of the health office.
- Keep open communication among administration, staff, and families.
- Treat and/or assist staff in proper health procedures for medically fragile students.
- Document, record, and keep detailed notes.
- Follow and adhere to Hannibal Public Schools policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required credentials
- LPN, RN, or BSRN
