In this impactful role, you will provide therapeutic services, support crisis intervention efforts, and contribute to a collaborative, client‑centered treatment environment. Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Complete co-occurring disorder assessments for clients entering ITCD services.
- Offer assertive outreach
, connecting clients with community resources and building rapport through practical support. - Maintain an assigned caseload in accordance with program guidelines.
- Participate in team staffing meetings to establish treatment goals and objectives.
- Deliver cross‑training to teammates on topics related to co-occurring disorders.
- Follow DMH standards and ITCD Fidelity Requirements to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in emergency services to assist clients during emotional crises.
- Attend all required team and organizational meetings.
- Engage in ongoing self‑evaluation and staff evaluation per organizational guidelines.
- Adhere to quality assurance, clinical documentation, and record‑keeping procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program success.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, human services field or equivalent experience OR 4 years of qualifying experience in mental health/substance use services delivery, or a combined 4 years of each.
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
- Knowledge/experience in:
Mental health and substance use support;
Case management;
Documentation and record‑keeping;
Crisis intervention (preferred)
- Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret procedures, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and community partners. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to apply basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). - Reasoning & Problem-Solving: Ability to apply sound judgment, follow written/oral instructions, and navigate situations that involve multiple variables.
