Senior Teacher, Early Childhood Education

Overview

Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring developmentally appropriate activities for children 6 weeks - 12 years. Must effectively communicate continually with parents, co-teachers, and management to facilitate learning and growth of each child.

• Communicate continually with parents, co-teachers, and management to facilitate learning and growth of each child.

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or equivalent preferred OR
• Minimum of 9 college credit hours in early childhood education/child development or related courses and completion of Associate Degree in ECE/CD within three years
• One year teaching experience required
• Possesses and consistently demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in High/Scope curriculum preferred
• Ability to effectively lead others
• Competent computer skills and able to demonstrate in a timely and accurate manner
• High level of energy and creativity required
• Exhibits professional appearance, manner, and communication at all times
