Mainduties of the job
As a Care Assistant - Nights, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. This will involve assisting residents with their personal hygiene, recognising and escalating any clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality. You will be required to practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.

Jobresponsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring dignity, independence and respect at all times.
- Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections) and Escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
- Deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home.
- Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
