Overview
The Survey Department Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to surveyors and project teams. This role is essential in keeping survey activities organized, documented, and running efficiently while coordinating communication between field crews, project managers, and office staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Survey Department and field survey teams
- Prepare, organize, and maintain survey documentation, records, and project files
- Assist with scheduling survey crews, equipment, and field assignments
- Track incoming and outgoing survey data, plans, and reports
- Support coordination between surveyors, project managers, and construction teams
- Manage correspondence, emails, and phone communications related to survey activities
- Assist with data entry, timekeeping, and invoicing support as needed
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and document control standards
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Contract to Hire position based out of Hanford, CA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
