Pay Range $22.90-$32.75/hr

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs
- Perform preventing maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
- Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift
- Handle all mechanical problems that may arise
- Ensure work area is clean at all time
- Record keeping and attention to details
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly during shift
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
- Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, and gripping
- Frequent overhead work
- Lock Out Tag Out certification required
- Must have at least 1 year of industrial maintenance work experience and 6 months of work history with 1 employer within the last 2 years listed on application.
- Physical requirements:
push, pull, lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly; lift up to 75 pounds occasionally; stand on hard surface up to 12 hours per day; repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping; frequent overhead work. - Rehabilitation criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
