Architect Technical Office

The company in question is the leading Design & Architectural / MEP Consultancy in the Spanish Data Centre Market who have recently expanded across Europe, particularly Germany, where they have begun their exponential growth. • Leading a team of people working across Germany (Works site) and Spain (Headquarters) under the supervision of the Head of the Technical Office on Site.
• Relevant team member for the success of the firm’s team within the wider project.
• Working directly with the General Contractor Team in the Works Site.
• Leading the team in the back office in the development of the Architectural Riba Stage 5 design.
• Supporting the GC team attending coordination meetings, Site Technical Queries, reviewing the Subcontractor’s technical submissions, reviewing the As‑Built Model, BoQ for material procurement, construction details, and technical documents of variation orders issued to/from the GC.
• Providing advice on planning, construction, and design issues to the Head of the Technical Office.
• Acting as a key point of contact of the Riba Stage 5 Design Team in front of the end client.
• Experience leading the architecture works and technical design solutions in mission‑critical buildings.
• Sound experience in materials selection, fit‑out management and design, architectural details, architectural BoQ, etc.
• Knowledge of both architectural and MEP disciplines.
• High German/English level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team‑based working with colleagues and clients of all levels.
• Notions of Spanish.
• Experience in the construction of data centres.
