The Technical Process Specialist will function as the first response to faults on the KPL / Grinder and TSP machines/lines. Will be responsible for station fault recovery. Individual will be responsible for ensuring KPI targets are met and escalating when deviations are seen and tracked using SMC or MES/Shift book.
This position will require technical troubleshooting ability. Be able to work with technicians and engineers to help solve issues quickly.
Be able to acquire black hammer and lightning bolt certification, and to be able to assist technicians in a dress out/LOTO situation(spotter).
Responsibilities- First response to faults on the PSE lines and recovery thereof.
- Monitor and react quickly to critical process indicators SMC / MES data on the shop floor.
- Execute process trials with MFE guidance as needed to improve process understanding and support improvements.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and involve support resources as needed to correct issues.
- Support Technicians in repairing and improving equipment
- BE the MFE extension during the shift when MFE is not available onsite.
- Able to identify line deviations and record information in SMC / Shiftbook and escalated it properly as department deviation escalation plan.
- Main responsibility is to monitor and support the operators to operate PSE lines (responsible for output, quality and stable flow), be able to react to machine faults quickly, and help find root cause. Perform Start-up Poke Yoke verification as required
- Monitor specified cycle times to ensure improvements do not adversely affect productivity
- Understand, communicate, and follow established best practices and safety
- Implement minor improvements to the process or equipment to ensure quality and increase the production as well as productivity.
- Provide input for deviations and to look for ways to improve process or equipment
- Able to cover/support operator jobs such as water spider, pack out, and DTA.
- Perform 5S daily for adherence
- Lead sort activities for any suspect quality defects
- HSD/GED required
- Manufacturing Experience required
- Steady work history
