On-call Snow Plow Driver position offering $60.00 per hour. CDL A/B or non-CDL candidates eligible. The role is mobilized during inclement winter weather.
Curtis Contracting, Inc. has several Snow Plowing and Road Treatment contracts with VDOT in the Richmond and Hampton Roads locations. On-Call Snow Plowing candidates will be entered on an On-Call list for mobilization during inclement weather only.
Locations include Richmond and Hampton Roads, VA areas.
Responsibilities- Operate single axle, tandem axle, quad axle, and centipede style dump trucks to plow snow and spread salt/brine on roadways.
- Maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of assigned vehicles.
- One year of commercial driving in the past three years.
- Must have a clean DMV report.
- Must be able to drive manual transmission trucks.
- Must be able to drive to and from job sites as needed.
- Must be willing to work day, night, or weekend shifts.
- Must submit a current medical card upon hire.
- Drug test/screening and reference checks.
- CDL A/B or non-CDL eligibility.
- Temporary
