Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Youth & Family Support Specialist for an on-site part-time role in Hampton, VA. The specialist will work closely with youth and families to deliver tailored support, coordinate and lead youth programs, facilitate mentorship opportunities, and develop community-based solutions. Key responsibilities include managing case records, conducting assessments, providing direct support, and collaborating with staff and community organizations to achieve positive outcomes for families.
Qualifications- Skills in Youth Leadership, Youth Work, and experience with Youth Programs.
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening and fostering positive relationships.
- Proficiency in Social Work practices with a focus on family dynamics and community engagement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups and community organizations.
- Bachelor s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in case management and working with youth and families is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting underrepresented communities and addressing mental health needs.
