About the Role:

The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure accurate and efficient work. The successful candidate will manage the use of various tools and materials, including stainless steel components and power tools, to complete installations and repairs to the highest standards.

Additionally, the Plumber will document work performed through routine reports and correspondence, ensuring clear communication with clients and team members. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in maintaining safe and functional water, drainage, and heating systems that meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations related to plumbing work.
• Proficiency in using power tools and basic carpentry techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specialized plumbing areas such as gas fitting or pipe fitting.
• Strong written communication skills for preparing detailed reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with local codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and operating and maintenance instructions to plan and execute plumbing tasks accurately.
• Use power tools and carpentry skills to modify structures and install plumbing components as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others on site.
• Prepare and write routine reports and correspondence documenting work progress, issues encountered, and materials used.
