Provide customer service to the clients staff and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disputes, and suspicious activity, and notify management and/or public responders as required;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity;
Monitor alarms, cameras, and assigned areas for unusual conditions, document observations in written reports, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision;
Support store operations by assisting with access control and crowd management during peak periods, supporting closing and opening procedures, and helping with loss-prevention related protocols as directed by site policy
