Sentara Care Plex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit.

Shift:

- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients.

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

• RN-Associate’s Degree, or
• RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or
• RN-Diploma, or
• RN-Master’s Degree

This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care – which may be a cardiac cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.
